Sound Healing for Nervous System Regulation
A guided sound bath for busy business owners. A short breathing practice, then you lie down and listen.
“A lot of us think we are resting because we have stopped working or finally sat down. But even when the body is still, the mind can continue racing.” Asami Iwasaki
We spend so much of our lives working, thinking and caring for others that we forget to check in with ourselves. This session is ninety minutes to pause, slow down and reconnect with your body. You leave with a short breathing practice you can use on your own.

“My mind never switches off.”
The work stops at the end of the day. The thinking about it keeps going.
“Even when I sit down, I don’t feel like I’m actually resting.”
Your body is still. Your mind is still racing.
“I’m always doing something or looking after someone else.”
The business, the family, the people who rely on you. Checking in with yourself comes last.
“I know I need to slow down, but I don’t know how.”
Even when you finally have time to rest, you can’t properly switch off.
You leave with five things.
Notice where stress sits in your body
The session opens with a check-in on your body, breath and mind.
A short breathing practice to settle yourself
Asami guides it at the start. It’s the part you take home and use on your own.
A way back to the present moment
Using sound and focused listening to bring your attention back to where you are.
A short pause for an overwhelming day
For the moments in an ordinary week when everything piles up at once.
Knowing what difference rest makes for you
The session closes with a second check-in, so you can compare how you feel against the one at the start.
An experience, not a presentation.
Settle · Breathe · Listen
No slides
“This is an experiential sound-healing session, not a formal presentation or breathwork workshop.”
Asami’s own description. The main part of the session is lying down and listening.
Sit or lie down
Eyes open or closed. Change position, or pause, at any time.
There are chairs for anyone who would rather sit.
A quiet room
The room stays quiet during the sound experience, with interruptions kept to a minimum.
Be there by 6:30 so the session starts on time and nobody walks in mid-sound.
Doors at 6:00. Finished by 8:00.
Doors open at 6:00pm with light snacks and drinks, and time to lay out your mat. The session itself starts at 6:30 and runs in five parts.
Welcome and check-in
Asami introduces herself, then a check-in with your body, breath and mind.
What sound healing is
A brief introduction to sound healing and nervous-system regulation.
Guided breathing
A short, gentle breathing practice to help everyone settle.
The sound experience
The main part. An immersive sound bath using a range of instruments, then quiet rest.
Final check-in
Noticing what has changed since the start, and a closing reflection.
Come if any of these sound like you.
Mentally busy, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your body.
Business owners, professionals, parents and carers.
No prior experience is needed. The session is built for beginners.
The breathing practice is short enough to do on your own, on any day.
Comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, a pillow or cushion, a light blanket and a water bottle. Asami brings a few spares.

Through Breath’in she runs private and group sessions, hosts community wellbeing activities, and facilitates at community events, workplaces and childcare centres.
From people who’ve been in her sessions.
“She created such a safe and cosy space that I felt completely at ease. I experienced deep relaxation, emotional release, and a sense of expansion that I’m still integrating.”
“I initially wasn’t sure how I’d like it or how effective it would be for me. Always leaving feeling better than when I arrived. I also find myself using the breathing techniques in my day to day.”
“From genuinely walking in not knowing what I was getting myself into, this was an experience to say the least. Asami was so gentle and went at your own pace.”
